Account Planner

Purpose:

To support the account management team in developing and executing innovative strategies that align with client objectives, leading insights and research initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality account planning that drives brand success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Development: Assist in formulating and executing account strategies aligned with client goals and brand vision.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with account managers, creatives, and other teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution of campaigns.
  3. Consumer Insights: Conduct research and analysis to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations.
  4. Project Oversight: Oversee the account planning process from research to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  5. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and effectively present strategic insights and recommendations.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with creative and media teams to ensure strategies are effectively executed across all channels.
  7. Plan Review: Review and approve account plans and strategies, ensuring they meet required standards and client expectations.
  8. Trends Monitoring: Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new insights into account planning processes.
  9. Budget Management: Assist in managing account budgets and resources efficiently.

Other Responsibilities:

  1. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing account planning processes and workflows.
  2. Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to junior account planners and new team members.
  3. Client Presentation Preparation: Assist in preparing and presenting account plans and strategies to clients.
  4. Feedback Integration: Incorporate client and team feedback into account plans to enhance overall effectiveness.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure all account planning outputs meet the highest standards of quality and strategic insight.

Experience:

  • Years of Experience: 3-7 years in account planning or related fields.
  • Industry Niche: Advertising Agencies, Marketing Communications, Brand Development, Research and Insights.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
