Purpose of the Job:

To lead the creative vision of the organization, developing and executing innovative strategies, overseeing design and content teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality creative work that meets client objectives and enhances brand success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Creative Vision Development: Formulate and execute a compelling creative vision that aligns with client goals and brand identity.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire creative teams, providing direction and constructive feedback to foster high-quality output.
  3. Concept Ideation: Oversee brainstorming sessions and develop innovative creative concepts for various projects and campaigns.
  4. Project Oversight: Manage the creative process from inception to execution, ensuring projects adhere to timelines and quality standards.
  5. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and effectively present creative concepts and strategies
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Strategy, account management) to ensure cohesive execution of projects.
  7. Creative Review: Evaluate and approve creative work, ensuring it meets required standards and client expectations.
  8. Trends and Innovation Monitoring: Stay updated with industry trends, incorporating new ideas and techniques into creative strategies.
  9. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and spending.

Other Responsibilities:

  1. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing creative processes and workflows.
  2. Training and Development: Provide mentorship and training to junior creative staff and new team members to foster their growth.
  3. Client Presentation Preparation: Prepare and present creative strategies and concepts to clients, showcasing the team's work effectively.
  4. Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate client and team feedback into creative outputs to enhance overall quality and effectiveness.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure all creative work adheres to the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Creative Leadership: Proven ability to lead and guide creative projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with the brand's vision and high creative standards.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing and mentoring creative teams, fostering collaboration and motivating members to achieve exceptional work.
  • Conceptual Development: Expertise in creating innovative and impactful concepts for campaigns, projects, and pitches that resonate with target audiences.
  • Client Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, understanding their needs and building lasting relationships.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of creative projects within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Industry Awareness: Informed about current trends and developments in the creative industry, using insights to inspire innovative approaches.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using creative software and tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite) to produce and refine visual content.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of identifying challenges and developing effective solutions to ensure smooth project workflows.
  • Presentation Skills: Expertise in delivering compelling presentations to clients and stakeholders, articulating creative ideas and concepts clearly.

Experience:

  • Years of Experience: 10+ years in a creative leadership role.
  • Industry Niche: Creative/Design Agencies, Advertising and Marketing, Media and Entertainment, Branding and Communications.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Design, Art, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
